Welcome To The American Rescue Workers Canton Corps.
Serving Canton, Ohio - Stark County and surrounding areas.
We offer a variety of ministries and services to Canton, Ohio and surrounding areas!
In Canton, the American Rescue Workers Corps is dealing with the serious plight of chronic homelessness among men. As men are provided the basic essentials of life, they are instructed in various life skills and given the opportunities to gain employment and educational tools. They are held accountable for their own decisions, both past and present. Many have made poor choices in their pasts, and the American Rescue Workers encourages them to examine those kinds of choices and the reasons why they make them. The American Rescue Workers also stresses taking responsibility for any attached consequences to those poor choices. While the American Rescue Workers teaches that God forgives us for confessed wrongs, and we need to forgive ourselves as well, the organization does not condone ignoring or neglecting responsibilities because of that forgiveness.
